How do I embed video in Blackboard?

It’s easy to add your video to Blackboard!

Wherever you can add media in Blackboard, look for the ScreenPal logo. Click it to open the LTI app, where you can see all of your hosted ScreenPal videos. Browse to the video you wish to embed, click the video thumbnail, and then click “Embed Video”. That’s it!

How do I edit a video to share on Blackboard?

You can easily edit your video with our video editor.

You can launch the editor from within the LTI app in Blackboard. The editor is an application that runs on your computer, just like normal, and when you’re done editing you can upload to ScreenPal hosting. Any video you upload to your hosting account is then available to embed within Blackboard.

For more on editing, see our easy editing process. Cut or trim your video. Add overlays including shapes, text, blurs, or images. Insert videos or previous recordings you’ve created. There’s no limit on what you can do!
Can I use my Blackboard login for ScreenPal?

How do I collaborate with video using Blackboard?

There are many ways to collaborate with video using Blackboard LMS.

You can record your screen or webcam with ScreenPal and then easily share your videos with your students. You can also have your students communicate with video. They don’t need a login to create videos. Students can launch the free screen recorder.

Team Premier users have access to the Channel Recorder feature, which allows students to participate in an asynchronous conversation by adding their own recording to an ongoing video playlist.
