How do I add videos to Jira issues?

There are many ways to use video within your Jira workflow. We found that the best way to communicate is through video.

You can easily add a video message to any text box or comment field in Jira using ScreenPal’s Chrome extension. You can also record your screen or webcam with ScreenPal then easily share your videos with QA, designers, and developers.

Video share links can be pasted directly in the Jira issue descriptions. If you would prefer, you can also save an MP4 of your video and upload the MP4 directly to Jira.

Is there a way to embed a video link in Jira?

It’s easy to add your video to Jira Epics, Stories, Tasks and Bugs!

First, upload your video to your ScreenPal account.

Once uploaded, you will find the video in your hosting account. Hover over the video you want to embed and click on ‘Details.’ Click on the share icon in Video Details.

You can customize the embed by selecting the size of your video, adding controls, captions or choose to add a title to your video. When done customizing, copy and paste the embed code to your platform.

You can also copy a direct link to your video and share to your audience.
